Chapter 58 Did you eat the special protein powder from Asgard?

Chapter 58 Did you eat the special protein powder from Asgard?

What followed was a bit out of control.

I can't remember how the clothes fell off; they probably scattered from the doorway all the way to the bedside.

Christine was more domineering than usual, leaving several faint red marks on his back with her fingernails.

It is unknown how long it took before the storm gradually subsided.

Only the sound of panting remained in the room.

The bed sheets were a complete mess.

Christine lay sprawled on Chen Xun, not wanting to move at all, her golden hair damp with sweat and sticking to her cheeks and forehead.

Chen Xun was also exhausted, his chest heaving violently, but his arms were still instinctively wrapped around her to prevent her from slipping down.

"Fuck!"

Christine buried her face in the crook of his neck and muttered a curse in a hoarse voice:

"Did you... eat some special Asgardian protein powder?"

Chen Xun chuckled softly, his chest heaving, too weak to retort, but he tightened his grip on his arms.

The two hugged quietly for a while, until their breathing and heartbeats gradually calmed down.

After the intense emotional release comes a sense of satisfaction and peace following extreme exhaustion.

after awhile.

Christine shifted slightly, propping herself up a little, and looked at him with a mixture of satisfaction and exhaustion:

"Not bad, hasn't regressed!"

Chen Xun raised his hand, tucked a strand of sweaty hair behind her ear, and brushed his fingertips against her burning skin:

"The same to you!"

Christine snorted, lay back down, and said lazily:

I'm hungry!

"Who just said they had no appetite?"

"That was just now! We've used up too much energy and need to replenish it!"

She was perfectly justified.

Chen Xun sighed helplessly, "Order takeout?"

"I don't want to wait!"

Christine rubbed against him: "Go see what's in the fridge and grab something."

Chen Xun sighed resignedly as he looked at her bossy manner.

He gently moved her aside, got up from the bed, casually put on a pair of pants, and walked out shirtless.

As he reached the door, he looked back one last time.

Christine was wrapped in a blanket, with only her fluffy head and a little bit of her shoulder showing. She was looking at him with a lazy gaze.

"Hurry up!" she urged.

Chen Xun smiled, closed the door, and went to the kitchen.

He rummaged through the refrigerator and found some leftover noodles, a few eggs, and some vegetables.

Turn on the heat and stir-fry the noodles.

He carried two plates of reasonably-looking fried noodles back to his bedroom.

Christine had struggled to sit up, wearing his T-shirt, the oversized garment revealing her slender collarbone and long, straight legs.

She took the plate, smelled it, and said, "Hmm, it smells alright."

The two leaned against the headboard, silently eating their belated dinner.

The room was still filled with an ambiguous atmosphere, but the ambiance was strangely warm.

"How's your filming going?"

Christine asked as she rolled the noodles.

"It went pretty smoothly, how about you?"

"As usual, there's backstabbing and infighting on set!"

Christine shrugged, as if it were nothing new: "It's much quieter here. At most, you'll be fighting with the Frost Giants."

Chen Xun smiled but didn't say anything.

After he finished eating, he took the plate to the kitchen. When he came back, he saw that Christine had already curled up back under the covers, her eyes almost closed.

He lay back down beside her and pulled her into his arms.

Christine, as usual, found a comfortable spot and muttered something.

"Next time... don't wait so long..."

Chen Xun lowered his head and kissed the top of her head: "Mmm!"

It seems we'll need to make use of this efficient charging method more often in the future.

He closed his eyes, feeling the warmth in his arms.

……

After spending almost two months in the studios of Asgard and Jotunheim, the crew is finally going to shoot on location!

They traveled to New Mexico to film the scene where Thor is banished to Earth and the Asgardian quartet comes down to find him.

Chen Xun flew there with the rest of the film crew.

As soon as I got off the plane.

A dry, hot wind swept over me.

As far as the eye can see, there is a desolate landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see.

It stands in stark contrast to the exquisitely designed palace on set in Los Angeles.

Upon arriving at the hotel where the film crew was staying, Chen Xun had just settled in when he ran into Chris Hemsworth in the hallway.

The moment this guy saw Chen Xun, he immediately flashed a grateful smile, strode over, and patted him hard on the shoulder.

"Bro! Thanks! That night... uh, I mean, thank you for not leaving me at the bar entrance and for bringing my 'wife' back."

He winked and made faces, clearly still remembering the embarrassing incident of drinking too much and hugging the cat hammer, saying he wanted to steal it and take it home.

Chen Xun grimaced as he was slapped.

"Go easy on Thor, it's nothing. I can't let you sleep on the street with your hammer."

"That won't do! If I lose the hammer, Marvel will kill me!"

Chris chuckled and lowered his voice, "But seriously, the drinks at that bar were really strong..."

As the two were talking, Jamie Alexander, who plays Ms. Sif, and Tadanobu Asano, who plays Hogan, also came over.

Everyone gathered together in a relaxed atmosphere. After all, coming from the cramped photo studio to the open world had improved their mood considerably.

The filming of the Earth scenes officially began the next day.

The scene is set on the edge of a desolate town, where a makeshift, simple outdoor café has been set up.

The Asgardian quartet, dressed in incongruous Asgardian attire, walked bewildered across the land of Midgard.

The first scene shows the group of four arriving on Earth for the first time, feeling curious and confused about everything around them.

Vandal needed to project an aristocratic air, being picky about things on earth.

"Action!"

The four of them walked carefully in a row on the dusty dirt road.

Ms. Sif cautiously surveyed her surroundings, Vostagg frowned at a rusty pickup truck, and Hogan looked serious.

Fandall, played by Chen Xun, looked at his spotless boots covered in dust and gave them an extremely disgusted yet helpless expression.

He flicked it lightly with his finger, as if it were something dirty stuck to it.

He added this detail himself, feeling it suited Vandal's somewhat obsessive-compulsive and aristocratic personality.

Seeing his expression, Sif couldn't help but want to laugh, but she had to hold it in; her lips twitched slightly.

This subtle interaction was captured by the camera, and director Branagh watched it from behind the monitor, finding it quite realistic and interesting, so he didn't call "cut."

Then Vostagg pointed to a red fire hydrant by the roadside and asked loudly:

"What is this thing? Is it a totem of the Midgardians?"

According to the script, everyone should be looking puzzled at this point.

But Ray Stevenson's gruff voice combined with the way he pointed at the fire hydrant with such seriousness was just too comical.

Standing next to him, Tadanobu Asano was the first to burst out laughing, quickly lowering his head to cover his mouth.

This was like flipping a switch; Jamie Alexander couldn't hold back any longer, and his shoulders started shaking.

Chen Xun could have maintained Vandal's composure.

But seeing Tadanobu Asano's pained expression as he tried so hard to suppress his laughter, and recalling the explanation about the fire hydrant totem, I couldn't help but smile.

"Cut!"

Director Branagh's voice came through with a hint of laughter:

"Okay, this part is very realistic, keep it. You four adjust it, and we'll do another take. Try not to burst out laughing."

A light laugh rang out on set.

After a brief respite, they started again, and this time they finally succeeded.
