"It's all your fault!"
Afterwards, Bae Joo-hyun lightly punched his chest with her small, embarrassed fists, seemingly forgetting that she had just been so engrossed in the moment.
Of course, Li Jingcheng wasn't stupid enough to point that out. He simply smiled and hugged her tighter, enjoying the seemingly angry but actually playful massage. He replied with a flattering expression, "Okay, okay, it's all my fault, it's all my fault."
In his arms, Bae Joo-hyun was actually more shy than anything else. Ultimately, it was just a lingering shyness after the passion had subsided. She buried her flushed cheeks in his shoulder, a comforting scent lingering around her nose—not perfume, but more like the smell of sun-dried cotton mixed with his usual refreshing shower gel, with a subtle, warm, and unique masculine aroma like cedarwood beneath the surface.
It makes you want to get hooked on it.
However, this idyllic tranquility was quickly shattered. A distinctly hard object abruptly pressed against her lower abdomen. Bae Joo-hyun stiffened, abruptly looking up and meeting Lee Kyung-sung's eyes, which held a similarly strange expression, a mixture of helplessness and forbearance.
She instantly understood what it meant, opened her mouth, and blushed as she squeezed out a breathy sentence, "Chu Gu Lei!"
She pushed him away abruptly, this time her small fist no longer a light, ambiguous gesture, but rather a genuine expression of shame and anger.
Li Jingcheng was on the verge of tears, dodging and whispering his defense, "This is a normal reaction for a man! Besides, I'm still so young, you should be happy, it means our future life will be very happy."
"You still dare to say that?!" Bae Joo-hyun's face turned so red it was almost steaming, and she pounced on him, both embarrassed and anxious.
Li Jingben could have easily dodged it, but how could he bear to let her fall? He had no choice but to stand still and catch the human-shaped cat cannonball.
"Ouch!" A slight stinging pain came from her shoulder, and Bae Joo-hyun bit down on it. Her voice was muffled, but it could be vaguely made out that it was, "Serves you right for bullying me."
Lee Kyung-sung hissed softly, but thankfully Bae Joo-hyun hadn't used much force. She simply stroked his back gently and whispered, "It's alright, it's alright."
Emotions come and go quickly. Bae Joo-hyun opened her mouth, ignoring the slight dampness on the spot, and looked at the clear teeth marks she had left behind, feeling a pang of heartache. "Why didn't you stop me..."
Li Jingcheng rolled his eyes, both amused and exasperated. "It's better for me to get hurt than for you to get hurt because you missed your target, right? If I try to stop you then, won't you be even angrier than a little pufferfish?"
He shook his head and sighed, "Women..."
Knowing she was in the wrong, Bae Joo-hyun blinked and instantly switched modes. She gently wriggled in his arms, using a childish voice with a thick nasal tone to draw out the last syllable, "Oppa~~" while rubbing her forehead against his neck and muttering softly, "It's all your fault..."
That soft, sweet "Oppa" hit him like a boulder, violently sweeping across Lee Kyung-sung's heart, bringing with it a subtle yet distinct tingling sensation.
He unconsciously tightened his arms around her, feeling his heart skip a beat before beating more steadily and powerfully. That flutter of affection and possessiveness, aroused by her coquettishness, warmly filled his heart.
It made his Adam's apple bob involuntarily.
The raging heat that had been surging through his body earlier had not subsided; instead, it had transformed into a deeper, more tormenting desire due to her completely unguarded and intimate posture, burning quietly in his blood.
He took a deep breath, his nostrils filled with the faint fragrance of her hair and the more distinct scent of her lingering on his body. This realization sent a slight tingling sensation through his fingertips, and he longed to hold her even closer in his arms.
That feigned helplessness had long since vanished in her soft, sweet voice. Li Jingcheng's eyes darkened, and he said nothing more, simply following his heart, lowering his head again to precisely cover those two soft, warm lips.
"Ugh..." Bae Joo-hyun opened her eyes wide in surprise, then obediently closed them the next second, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, immersing herself even more deeply in the gentle and lingering kiss, feeling the mingling of their breaths and heartbeats.
After what seemed like an eternity, Bae Joo-hyun finally stepped back, panting, her eyes glistening with tears, and lightly spat, "It really is Pabu, I was about to suffocate..."
Li Jingcheng chuckled softly, a mischievous glint of affection in his eyes, as a few new thoughts began to form in his mind.
He suddenly bent down, one hand steadily scooping under her knees, the other hand firmly encircling her back. With his core strength engaged and his back straight, he instantly lifted her lightly off the ground in a standard princess carry, full of power and possessiveness.
"Ah!" Bae Joo-hyun exclaimed, instinctively hugging his neck tightly.
"Hold on tight!" Li Jingcheng laughed, turning her around with him in his arms. "Now, let our future mistress give our home a good inspection!"
"Hey! Put me down!" Bae Joo-hyun kicked her legs, but her protests were powerless in Lee Kyung-sung's strong arms.
He held her in his arms and began to introduce the place with steady steps. "Look, this is the front yard. We've left some space where you can plant all your favorite flowers, or we can build a swing." Stepping into the spacious foyer, he continued, "The entire first floor has been opened up. The living room, open kitchen, and dining room are all here. It's very spacious, so you can see each other as soon as you look up when you're dancing or I'm exercising."
He gestured to the entire floor-to-ceiling glass door, "
"Outside is a large wooden terrace where you can see the night view of the Han River and the city lights at night."
He effortlessly carried Bae Joo-hyun up the stairs to the second floor. "This is the master bedroom. I've reserved the largest area for the walk-in closet next door, how about that? That's the study; you can remodel it however you like, for example, turn it into your future music studio?"
Finally, we arrived at the third floor.
"There's a small loft and a home theater here, and part of the roof has a glass dome. On rainy days, we can lie here, listen to the rain, and watch the clouds."
"There's also a basement level with a home theater and a gym with a heated swimming pool."
Finally, Lee Kyung-sung gently placed Bae Joo-hyun on the large, soft sofa in the living room. He knelt on one knee, looked up at her with star-like eyes, held her hand tightly, and said in a deep and earnest voice, "I imagine that we are together, filling our lives and memories little by little."
Bae Joo-hyun had long forgotten how to struggle; she felt as if golden dust, the future, was floating in the air. Every scene he described made her heart race. Looking into his eyes, filled with unreserved expectation and love, all the words she was about to say melted away in her throat.
In the end, she simply blushed, gently squeezed his hand with her fingertips, and gave a barely audible but incredibly firm reply.
"I...I do..."
