Peninsula: Starting with Hijacking Yoona

84, I understand you so well.

84, I understand you so well.

In the South Korean film and television industry in 2012, the hottest name recently was undoubtedly Lee Kyung-sung.

Lee Kyung-bun originally wanted to enjoy a rare lazy morning with Bae Joo-hyun, and then go shopping with her beforehand to make up for the missed dates.

Early in the morning, Wang Zilu's car was parked in front of his house, saying that there was an emergency at CJ headquarters.

"It's finally settled, come in quickly!"

With a tone of relief and感慨, Luo Yonghao opened the conference room door.

Looking at his two enormous dark circles, Li Jingcheng swallowed back the words he was about to say.

As Lee Kyung-sung walked in, his bad premonition instantly became a reality. He saw Kim Min-joo and the mountain of documents piled up on the table.

"Kyung-sung is here!" Kim Min-joo greeted him with a perfectly gentle smile, and with exceptional politeness, she quickly stepped forward, gently took Lee Kyung-sung's wrist, and led him to his seat.

Before Lee Kyung-sung could even exchange a few polite words, Kim Min-joo unleashed a torrent of proposals like a floodgate had been opened.

"This is CJ's newly launched carbonated beverage, Vita 500, this is our CJ OliveYoung skincare line, and this... Samsung Smart TV solo endorsement, GALAXY SⅢ, the main solo endorsement in the Korean region."

Samsung?

For the next ten minutes or so, Li Jingcheng listened quietly to the various resource coordination details, feeling increasingly overwhelmed and a growing sense of helplessness. Was this the end of his life?

Although he wasn't particularly familiar with Korean domestic brands, he knew that those that CJ was promoting were definitely not small names. Especially since Kim Min-joo emphasized that these were all from CJ's own supply chain, and there was also the Samsung phone; the endorsement fees must be quite high.

But with so many endorsements, isn't it tiring?

"Okay, that's all for now. There are a few more suitable ones we're still negotiating." Kim Min-joo seemed a little unsatisfied after saying that.

This is the first time in so long that the company has been so supportive, both in terms of allocating resources and attracting so many endorsement offers.

"Shouldn't an endorsement only require filming some GG scenes?" she finally finished speaking, and Li Jingcheng asked cautiously, calculating the time in his mind.

Kim Min-joo smiled, her eyes gleaming with shrewdness. "GG is for sure. But for fast-moving consumer goods like Vita 500, you might need to attend autograph sessions and a few campus roadshows. And for the Lotte Department Store one, you'll also need to make an appearance at the opening ceremony. We'll let you know once the details are finalized, so don't overthink it."

Li Jingcheng's heart skipped a beat.

Just as he was about to say something, Kim Min-joo reached out and gently patted his shoulder, saying earnestly, "Kyung-sung, you're young now, it's the time to strive, you can't always think about resting."

Look at your current momentum, take on more endorsements to solidify your national recognition. You haven't even finalized those luxury brand endorsements yet.

Li Jingcheng was certainly not willing to spend all his time working. He always believed that a balance between work and rest was the key to life, and that constantly being on edge would eventually break him.

Just as he was about to retort, Kim Min-joo suddenly leaned closer, lowered her voice, as if sharing a secret, "Besides... you don't want the resources for the female lead in the music video for this official album to end up in someone else's hands, do you?"

Lee Kyung-sung looked at the unusual smile on Kim Min-joo's face, and the words he was about to say instantly stuck in his throat.

"When will the album production begin?" His tone softened.

"Well... the music department hasn't replied yet." Luo Yonghao interjected at the right time, interrupting Li Jingcheng, "But for this time, the planning team has reserved a story-style shooting plan for multiple brand GGs. Some GG short films will be paired with a dedicated female lead. If the female lead is a trainee, this can also save on production costs."

Looking at Luo Yonghao's beaming reply, Li Jingcheng completely lost his confidence to refute. He could only shut up again, no longer dwelling on the schedule, and earnestly began to review the proposal. "So what if I'm tired?" he thought.

At least when he's working, if either Bae Joo-hyun or Kim Ji-soo is there, he won't feel too bored.

Kim Min-joo and Na Yong-ho exchanged a glance, and a satisfied smile involuntarily appeared on their faces.

They weren't afraid that Li Jingcheng would back down; what they needed was his cooperation. The more cooperative and better he performed, the more CJ hoped to see.

This unique treatment, this pampering, is currently enjoyed only by Lee Kyung-sung in the entire CJ actor headquarters.

"Have the storylines for these guys not been finalized yet?" Li Jingcheng finally uttered his first question, expressing his doubts.

"Yes, once the director and the brand have finalized the details, they'll send them to you for confirmation," Kim Min-joo explained patiently. "Your popularity on the Peninsula is now completely secured. Oh, and one more thing, take good care of your voice. You have another OST to record for an MBC weekend drama."

"No problem." Lee Kyung-sung nodded readily. What he was most looking forward to right now was the audition for "New World" and his own album. Although he had an extra schedule with GG, as long as it didn't affect his core plans, it was fine.

Now that the agreement was reached, Li Jingcheng didn't mince words and directly stated his own thoughts.

"Minjoo unnie, Yongho hyung, after filming for New World wraps up, I'm planning to work with Im Yoon-ah on a drama series. Could you please keep an eye out for suitable scripts for me?"

There was a moment of silence in the conference room.

"Lim Yoon-ah?" Kim Min-joo was slightly taken aback, clearly not expecting Lee Kyung-sung to bring this up.

Luo Yonghao nodded and made a note in his notebook, "The collaboration is no problem. Lin Yoona is transitioning into an actress now, and there are high expectations for her popularity. I can take charge of coordinating both teams, but there are too many variables in the subsequent schedules. It will be difficult for your schedule and hers to completely match. We can discuss the specific details of the collaboration after you successfully audition for 'New World' and the role of Lee Ja-sung is finalized."

Lee Kyung-sung wasn't worried. He hadn't expected a definite answer yet. "Just keep an eye out for me. As long as I get an audition for the role of Lee Ja-sung, I'll show the director my acting skills."

"Okay, I'll have the planning department keep an eye out for suitable scripts." Kim Min-joo agreed with a smile, but in her heart she was calculating what kind of help it would be to Lee Kyung-sung if the two of them could really get together to film a drama.

After the meeting ended, Li Jingcheng walked out of the CJ building with a thick schedule in his hand.

The sunlight was a bit dazzling. He looked at the densely packed endorsement activities and OST recordings on the screen and smiled helplessly.

"It seems that the day I promised Joo-hyun I'd go shopping will have to be today, otherwise it'll have to be postponed indefinitely again."

He took out his phone and sent a message to Bae Joo-hyun.
